¿Aprender vocabulario en inglés y no olvidar las palabras ever again? Is that possible??
Sí, aprender vocabulario en inglés es algo que trae de cabeza a muchos alumnos.
Aún recuerdo una vez, tomando “tapas” con mis amigos guiris y españoles. No sabía cómo decir “anchoa” en inglés y en Murcia es super típico ponerle una anchoa a la tapa de ensaladilla rusa.
Lo llamamos “marinera”. I want two marineras please!
El caso. Yo no sabía cómo decir anchoa y mi amiga Paloma me ayudó: we say anchovy! And “white anchovy” is for boquerón.
I immediately tried to write it down on my smartphone.
Cuando Paloma me vió ir al teléfono e intentar apuntar la nueva palabra se partió de risa.
“¿Por qué la escribes? No lo apuntes, acuérdate y ya está”.
Esto, que suena simple y estúpido, es el único secreto para aprender vocabulario en inglés y memorizar todas las nuevas palabras que vayas encontrando en esta aventura que es volverte bilingüe.
