Hey what’s up?

Welcome to another episode of heydave, the show where you ask the questions and I answer them!

This happens to intermediate or advanced students. Pero si eres intermediate (B1) or advanced (B2) y aun así te cuesta mucho seguir un listening…it’s time to make a change, to do things differently.

Ready?

Ok, let’s see how to stop having difficulty with English listenings!

Have you ever experienced that? You’re doing a listening exercise in class, trying to make a phone call or understand a conversation but you feel completely lost.

I have made a decision, to help Miriam destroy that problem.

Your guess is right, isn’t it?

The only way to improve your listening is….doing real listening!

Listen to a podcast

Watch a TV series

Turn on BBC radio

Those activities are great, but you need to do fight or flight listening, that is, real situations where you need to survive by talking to native speakers. “Fight or flight” significa de supervivencia, lucha o huída.

What did you expect? Something different? From me??

I hope you learn a lot!
